Reviewed 17 October 2026. This is the Bank Guarantee face amount, not NavSure’s consultancy fee. Rule 8(3) gives existing valid 2016 licence holders three years from commencement to furnish the differential BG; this transition does not apply when expanding recruitment capacity. Rule 8(5) requires BG validity through the licence period or completion of all placed seafarers’ contracts, whichever is later. Read the official 2026 RPSL Rules ↗
